About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef de Partie to join our team at The Bamford Collection. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for executing all dishes to the highest standards, ensuring exceptional quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute all dishes as per menu specifications, adhering to our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Deliver daily mise en place requirements, ensuring seamless kitchen operations.
  • Ensure kitchen audit requirements are met, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
  • Assist and support colleagues in the kitchen, promoting a positive and collaborative team culture.
  • Share knowledge and passion for food with junior staff, mentoring and developing their skills.
  • Ensure your section is fully set for the next day, with fresh mise en place and equipment in good working order.
  • Learn about our products and production processes, staying up-to-date with the latest culinary trends and techniques.
  • Comply with store internal audit requirements, maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
  • Highlight any health and safety concerns to your line manager, ensuring a safe working environment for all.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Chef de Partie in a similar fresh food, restaurant, or café environment.
  • Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, including mise en place, cooking techniques, and food safety.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a positive and proactive attitude.
