Chef De Partie Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Chef De Partie to join our team at C&E Recruitment. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of junior chefs and kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and presentation.
  • Develop and implement new menu ideas and recipes to enhance the culinary experience for our customers.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, stock control, and task prioritization in the kitchen.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety guidelines, including COSHH and HACCP, to maintain a safe and healthy working environment.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to achieve seamless service delivery and maintain a positive team dynamic.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Chef De Partie in a similar environment, with a strong understanding of kitchen operations and management.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide junior staff.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Passion for fresh food and good attention to detail, with a commitment to using seasonal and locally sourced ingredients.
