Exciting Opportunity in Bulk Handling Engineering

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at Kasmir Associates, a global leader in bulk handling equipment and integrated plant-wide systems. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing bespoke bulk handling systems using Autodesk Inventor 3D modeling software.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and create General Arrangement Drawings and detailed designs of bulk handling systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  2. Produce full detail drawings, including structural sections, sub-assemblies, and sheet metal patterns for manufacturing.
  3. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth project execution and delivery of high-quality results.
  4. Manage projects ranging from £10k to multi-million-pound turnkey solutions, ensuring timely completion and customer satisfaction.
  5. Develop and maintain current standards using Autodesk Inventor, including conversion of Inventor models from the USA to Metric.
  6. Utilize Vault Pro software for file and revision control, ensuring efficient and secure management of design data.

Requirements:

  1. Technical/Mechanical Engineering Qualification (HND/HNC or equivalent).
  2. 2 years plus experience with Autodesk Inventor or similar 3D modeling tools (SolidWorks, Catia, ProE, Creo).
  3. Experience in design of pneumatic circuits and control systems (preferred but not essential).
  4. Knowledge of process and electrical engineering (preferred but not essential).
  5. Excellent team player with strong time management skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook).
  7. Experience with Autodesk Vault Pro (preferred but not essential).
