Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop new products and improve existing ones using 3D CAD software.
  • Support and manage designs and mechanical R&D projects throughout their entire lifecycle, ensuring smooth handover to manufacturing and installation.
  • Ensure all engineering documentation (BOM) is accurately produced to industry standards.
  • Create BOMs and ensure all parts are recorded correctly, continuously supporting the Design for Manufacture (DFM) process.
  • Produce cost-effective designs that meet business requirements and provide engineering and technical support to clients as needed.
Requirements
  • Confident and outgoing engineer capable of managing multiple design projects.
  • Take ownership and pride in work, remaining committed to delivering high-quality products throughout the entire product lifecycle.
  • Demonstrate success in developing new products on time, within budget, and to specification.
  • Experience with Design for Manufacture or Assembly (DFM/DFA) and an understanding of lean manufacturing methodologies for design would be highly advantageous.
