About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Planning Manager to join our dynamic team at Aldwych Consulting Ltd. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee a growing portfolio of projects, with values ranging from £5 million to £100 million.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of Planning Engineers to provide line management support and guidance.
  • Develop a team of subject matter experts by providing mentoring and coaching in best practice planning, reporting, and governance processes.
  • Work directly with Project Directors and their teams to develop project plans and programmes with key deliverables.
  • Coordinate planning resources to ensure programme support is available for delivery on time and to quality required.
  • Ensure customer requirements are achievable while establishing timelines for production of quality assured, cost-loaded deliverable programmes.
Ideal Candidate
  • A team player with a proactive approach to project delivery.
  • Strong ownership mindset, capable of driving results and motivating teams.
  • Previous line management experience is essential, particularly in leading and developing teams.
  • Ability to manage difficult conversations and deal with a variety of personalities.
  • Proficient in Primavera P6 and knowledgeable of NEC contracts.
  • A willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic work environment.
  • Must hold a valid driving license and be willing to travel to project sites.
