Job Title: Planning Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Planning Manager to lead and develop a team of Planning Engineers in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This role offers the opportunity to shape project success and ensure the timely delivery of key milestones through expert planning and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead a team of Planning Engineers, providing support, guidance, and mentoring in best practices related to planning, reporting, and governance processes.
* Collaborate directly with Project Directors to develop comprehensive project plans across all phases, from inception to completion.
* Coordinate planning resources to ensure that projects are delivered on time and to the highest quality standards.
* Establish timelines for the production of cost-loaded, deliverable programmes for project sanction.
* Support Project Directors in achieving portfolio success by delivering consistent, value-driven project planning activities.

Key Capabilities:

* Team Leadership & Line Management: Effectively guide and develop your team.
* Project Planning Expertise: Experience with Primavera P6, NEC clauses, and compensation event analysis.
* Programme & Portfolio Management: Develop and manage programmes that align with the overall project goals.
* Client Relationship Management: Ensure that client requirements are met and managed professionally.

Desirable Skills:

* Proficiency in Primavera P6.
* Knowledge of NEC contractual clauses and cost management.
* Certification such as APM or equivalent.
