We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Careers Advisor to join our Advice & Recruitment Team at ONLY FE. As a Careers Advisor, you will play a vital role in providing professional career guidance services to our students, helping them to improve their skills, knowledge, and understanding for career planning and management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver personal guidance interviews to students to support their career development
  • Provide information, advice, and guidance on career options, education, and training
  • Work closely with teachers and other staff to ensure that students receive comprehensive career support
  • Develop and deliver careers-related learning programs for groups of students
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest career trends, education, and training opportunities

Requirements

  • Education to degree level or significant relevant experience in Careers and a Level 6 qualification in Careers Advice and Guidance
  • Experience of delivering careers-related learning to groups and knowledge of the CDI Framework and Gatsby Benchmarks
  • Experience of working in an information, advice, and guidance service within a post-16 setting and supporting UCAS and clearing processes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to relate to a wide range of people and organizations
