We are in search of a dependable and detail-oriented Stock Clerk to become a part of our team.

Role Overview:

Are you meticulous, efficient, and enthusiastic about inventory oversight? As a Stock Clerk at 8Bits, your responsibilities will include managing stock levels, ensuring precise inventory counts, and maintaining an orderly store environment. Your contributions will be essential in enhancing our operational efficiency and improving the customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive, inspect, and unpack incoming inventory shipments, confirming accuracy and quality.
  • Organize and store products in the stockroom and on the sales floor in accordance with company standards.
  • Maintain precise inventory records and monitor stock levels to guarantee product availability.
  • Assist with restocking on the sales floor, including replenishing shelves and managing product displays.
  • Collaborate with the purchasing team to reorder stock as necessary and address any inventory discrepancies.
  • Conduct regular stock audits and assist with inventory management tasks.
  • Ensure the stockroom is clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
  • Support the sales team by providing accurate stock information and addressing stock-related inquiries.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding inventory management, safety, and security.
  • Assist with seasonal and promotional inventory adjustments as required.

What We're Looking For:

  • Prior experience as a stock clerk, stockroom assistant, or in a similar capacity is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving stock.
  • Proficiency in utilizing inventory management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends if necessary.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset.
  • A proactive and self-motivated approach with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A passion for retail and the entertainment sector.
