About the Role: We are looking for a talented Merchandising Specialist to join our team at KILLSTAR. As a Merchandising Specialist, you will play a key role in assisting the Merchandising Team with the creation and management of product entries on Shopify and WMS systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Creation of product entries on Shopify and respective WMS systems, including SKU creation & attribution, material content, HS (customs) coding, cost price uploads/edits, product weights/measurements, US tax codes, etc.
  2. Processing of inbound stock shipments onto internal systems, ensuring accurate stock holdings.
  3. Process all packing lists and invoices in a timely manner, updating the Consignment List with great attention to detail.
  4. Raise and submit purchase orders to suppliers, following the critical path and approval from Product Development.
  5. Customs document preparation for inbound shipments, liaising with freight forwarders as needed.
  6. Clearance/further reductions/price edits on relevant systems to ensure correct pricing in all currencies.
  7. Allocation/tagging of relevant products for wholesale availability and merchandising status.
  8. Pre-launch checks (style names, departments, categories, cost and retail prices, stock availability, SKUs/barcodes, etc.) to ensure they are ready for launch.
  9. Manage the product launch schedule, proposing adjustments as needed following alignment with wider departments.
  10. Encourage collaboration between remote and on-site product teams, participating in weekly meetings.
  11. Assist with physical product descriptions, imagery, and feedback to strengthen team knowledge.
  12. Maintain the Critical Path for all products, working closely with the product team.
  13. Review and improve product team processes, building and demonstrating best practices.
  14. Manage sales records to build an accurate history of previous performance.
  15. Carry out weekly inventory reviews to ensure stock integrity.
  16. Assist merchandisers with relevant tasks or reporting.
