Non-Medical Prescriber Nurse Specialist

We are currently seeking a talented Non-Medical Prescriber Nurse or Pharmacist Prescriber to join our community-based substance use services in the City of London and Hackney.
Role ResponsibilitiesAs a community-based Non-Medical Prescriber Nurse or Pharmacist Prescriber, you will be involved in providing opiate substitute treatment, alcohol and opiate detoxifications, and relapse prevention medications. You will work closely with the nursing team to provide Blood Borne Virus screening and vaccinations, and collaborate with mental health, physical health, and social care services. Your role will also involve creating a collaborative approach that links Turning Point with outside professionals and agencies.
The Ideal CandidateWe are seeking a qualified Non-Medical Prescriber Nurse or Pharmacist Prescriber who is an excellent communicator and can develop support packages that are creative, flexible, and tailored to the needs of each individual. You will need to possess a deep level of empathy, understanding, and patience, and be genuinely interested in helping individuals with different needs.
