Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Director to join our team at JSS Search. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies to optimize the sourcing and procurement of goods and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement Procurement Strategies: Create and execute procurement plans to ensure the optimal sourcing and procurement of goods and services, aligning with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with Internal Stakeholders: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their procurement needs and requirements, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Build and Maintain Supplier Relationships: Foster strong relationships with suppliers and manufacturers to negotiate favorable terms and pricing agreements, driving cost savings and improving supply chain efficiency.
  • Procurement Process Management: Oversee the procurement process from requisition to delivery, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.
  • Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify new suppliers, products, and cost-saving opportunities, driving business growth and improvement.
  • Inventory Management: Manage the inventory of products at our modern distribution center, optimizing stock levels and minimizing wastage.

Requirements:

  • Procurement and Supply Chain Expertise: In-depth knowledge of procurement and supply chain processes, with previous experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Negotiation and Communication Skills: Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of achieving cost savings and favorable contract terms, excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical Mindset: Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Inventory and Logistics Experience: Experience managing inventory and logistics is desirable, but not required.
