Strategic Procurement Specialist

Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Buyer to join our team at Round-Peg Solutions (RPS). As a Strategic Buyer, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process for allocated programmes and commodities, ensuring that requirements are met on time and delivering a cost-effective supply base.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet business objectives.
- Manage the procurement process from sourcing to contract award, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiating prices and terms to achieve cost savings.
- Monitor and report on procurement metrics, including spend analysis and supplier performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with procurement activities.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in procurement or a related field.
- Proven track record of cost savings and procurement process improvement.
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes and strategies.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
