AWS Senior Business Development Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Senior Business Development Manager to join our Rethink Events team at William Reed Business Media Ltd. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales success and growing our business in the agri-tech, food-tech, and sustainability sectors.
Key Responsibilities- Track and report on business development and delegate sales teams' monthly performance against targets.
- Support business development team members in accurately forecasting sales, identifying gaps, and helping them achieve their goals and targets.
- Manage and mentor business development executives in the World Agri-Tech portfolio.
- Contribute to and deliver team training sessions in collaboration with other Senior BDMs.
- Sell across the entire portfolio of summits and support existing projects.
- Attend key Rethink Events and organize business development trips to meet clients.
- Generate new business, close sales, and hit targets.
- Hands-on industry experience in sales selling B2B to senior-level business executives.
- Excellent communication skills, including telephone communication.
- Experience using sales software such as Salesforce, Goldmine, ZoHo, or similar software.
- Willingness to travel internationally.
- Solid understanding and experience of the B2B conference model (desirable but not essential).
- Understanding of digital advertising space (a plus but not essential).
- 25 days annual leave in addition to bank holidays, increasing by one additional day after 6 years, up to a maximum of 30 days.
