Lead Business Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Analyst to drive requirements for digital technologies, with a strong focus on AWS and Agile methodologies. As a Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring that our projects align with strategic objectives and deliver maximum value.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Elicit and analyze requirements to ensure alignment with project goals and objectives.
  • Gather and document detailed business requirements from stakeholders, including users, subject matter experts, and management.
  • Develop and maintain process diagrams and workflows to document current and future state processes.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to design and develop solutions that meet business requirements and align with AWS best practices.

Agile Delivery:

  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies, such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Manage the product backlog and prioritize requirements.
  • Ensure alignment between business goals and Agile delivery practices.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Communicate effectively and proactively with stakeholders to manage expectations and address concerns.

Qualifications:


• Strong experience as a Business Analyst or Product Owner in the UK public sector.


• In-depth knowledge of digital technologies and their application in public sector environments.


• Expertise in AWS cloud services and their use in delivering digital solutions.


• Proven experience in Agile methodologies, such as Scrum and Kanban.


• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Bonus Qualifications:


• Experience with data analysis and business intelligence tools.


• Knowledge of user experience (UX) design principles.


• Experience with project management methodologies.
