Overview of the Project Manager Role

The Project Manager will oversee the entire project lifecycle, from initiation through to successful completion. This role is critical in ensuring that projects are executed within the established parameters of time, budget, and quality.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must possess experience in CCTV, Intruder Alarm, and Access Control systems.

Key Responsibilities of the Project Manager

  • Oversee the planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure of projects.
  • Develop and implement project plans and work breakdown structures.
  • Manage daily project operations and tasks.
  • Facilitate project meetings with stakeholders, including clients and suppliers.
  • Provide regular updates on project status to internal teams and clients.
  • Negotiate solutions to project risks and issues with all parties involved.
  • Manage project scope and implement change control processes.
  • Create and maintain essential project documentation.
  • Ensure reliable resource allocation throughout the project.
  • Be prepared to engage directly with project tasks to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Conduct a comprehensive handover to the client upon project completion.

Knowledge and Skills Required:

  • In-depth understanding of project management principles.
  • Extensive experience with the complete project lifecycle and methodologies.
  • Relevant certifications such as FIA, NSI, LPCB, or C&G.
  • Strong interpersonal communication and negotiation abilities.
  • A collaborative approach to working with project teams and stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated with effective time management skills.
  • Proficient presentation skills, capable of conveying complex concepts to varied audiences.
  • Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously and leading teams.
  • Prior experience with systems such as CCTV and Access Control is essential.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Competitive salary based on experience, ranging from 40-50k, plus a commission scheme.
  • 28 days of annual leave, inclusive of public holidays.
  • An additional day of leave for each year of service.
