About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to join our team at Jackie Kerr Recruitment. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the growth and evolution of our company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development: Identify and analyze potential new sources of business, focusing on new markets and opportunities.
  • Client Relationships: Build and maintain lasting relationships with new and existing clients, providing exceptional customer service and support.
  • Sales Operations: Oversee and manage the sales operations in the South of England, ensuring seamless execution and high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Travel and Support: Travel to customer sites across the South of England, providing on-site support and assistance to customers.

Requirements:

  • Proven Track Record: A minimum of 3 years' experience in an external sales role, with a proven track record of success.
  • Industry Experience: Previous experience in plant sales, tipper sales, drum mixer sales, or rental sales, with a strong understanding of the target construction markets and their culture.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Excellent strategic planning skills, IT literacy (Microsoft Office packages), and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
