Regional Sales Director

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Area Sales Manager to join our team at Jackie Kerr Recruitment. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the growth and development of our business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and Analyze New Business Opportunities: Utilize your expertise to identify potential new sources of business, focusing on new markets and opportunities for growth.
- Build and Maintain Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, ensuring excellent customer service and driving sales growth.
- Oversee Sales Operations: Manage the sales operations for the South of England region, ensuring effective sales strategies and tactics are in place.
- Customer Support: Travel to customer sites across the South of England, providing support and assistance to customers with their purchases.
Requirements:
- Proven Sales Experience: A minimum of 3 years' experience in an external sales role, with a proven track record of success.
- Industry Knowledge: Previous experience in plant sales, tipper sales, drum mixer sales, or rental sales, as well as other relevant industries such as volumetric mixers, excavators, or telehandlers.
- Market Understanding: A deep understanding of the target construction markets and their culture, with the ability to develop effective sales strategies.
- Strategic Planning: Strong strategic planning skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- IT Literacy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages and other relevant software.
