Job Title:
Construction Safety Coordinator

Location:
National (with travel requirements)

Salary:
Up to £55,000 (Depending on experience) + performance bonus + vehicle allowance + additional benefits

We are seeking a dedicated professional with outstanding interpersonal skills to lead and manage Health and Safety protocols on active construction sites.

A background in construction and familiarity with CDM 2015 regulations is crucial for this position.

Your role will be essential in ensuring that all operations adhere to HSE standards while providing guidance to clients, contractors, and personnel.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable health and safety laws, including CDM 2015.
  • Create and maintain essential project documentation, such as Construction Phase Plans, emergency protocols, and fire risk assessments.
  • Oversee contractor activities through permit systems and on-site coordination meetings.
  • Perform regular site inspections and compliance audits.
  • Investigate workplace incidents and accidents thoroughly.
  • Supervise and evaluate HSE support services.
Candidate Profile:

  • Proven experience in a Health & Safety Management role within a live construction environment.
  • Valid driving license.
  • In-depth knowledge of Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015.
  • NEBOSH General Certificate qualification.
  • Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including 12-hour shifts.
  • Highly organized, capable of managing time effectively and providing clear direction.
  • Proficient in IT, particularly Microsoft Office applications.
  • Detail-oriented and able to maintain composure under pressure.
  • Quick to adapt to changing demands and requirements.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • SMSTS Certification
  • NEBOSH Construction Certificate
  • First Aid Certification
What We Offer:

  • Permanent full-time position with a competitive salary up to £55,000 per annum based on experience.
