**Job Summary:**

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Site Manager to join our team at Thorn Baker Construction. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for assisting the Site Manager in overseeing the construction project, ensuring health and safety regulations are strictly followed, and coordinating and supervising subcontractors and tradespeople.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Site Manager in overseeing the construction project, including monitoring and reporting on project progress.
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are strictly followed on site, including implementing and enforcing safety protocols and procedures.
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and tradespeople, including managing site logistics and ensuring materials are delivered on time.
  • Manage site documentation, including maintaining accurate records of project progress and site activities.
  • Collaborate with the Site Manager and other team members to achieve project goals and objectives.

Requirements:

  • **Qualifications:**
    • SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)
    • CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme)
    • First Aid certification
    • Full UK Driving Licence
  • **Experience:**
    • Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of construction processes and procedures.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with subcontractors, tradespeople, and other stakeholders.

Working Conditions:

  • Work on construction sites in various weather conditions.
  • Regular interaction with subcontractors and project stakeholders.
