Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Site Manager to join our team at Thorn Baker Group. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for assisting the Site Manager in overseeing the construction project, ensuring health and safety regulations are strictly followed, and coordinating and supervising subcontractors and tradespeople.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Site Manager in overseeing the construction project, including monitoring and reporting on project progress
- Ensure health and safety regulations are strictly followed on site, including conducting regular site inspections and implementing safety protocols
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and tradespeople, including managing site logistics and ensuring materials are delivered on time
- Monitor and report on project progress to the Site Manager, including identifying and mitigating potential risks and issues
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with project stakeholders, including subcontractors, suppliers, and clients
Requirements:
- SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification
- CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) certification
- First Aid certification
- Full UK Driving Licence
Working Conditions:
- Work on construction sites in various weather conditions
- Regular interaction with subcontractors and project stakeholders
