Exciting Opportunity for a Customer Care Representative
Optime Group is seeking a dedicated individual to take on the role of Customer Care Representative at a prominent airport. In this position, you will serve as a welcoming presence for travelers embarking on their journeys, collaborating closely with the Airport Operations Team to ensure a smooth and enjoyable airport experience for all.
What We Offer:
- Compensation: £13.69 per hour
- Working Hours: 24 hours per week
- Shift Schedule: 4 ON / 4 OFF (commitment to the roster is essential)
- Shift Timing: Between 16:00 and 22:00
- Part-Time Shifts: 16:00 to 22:00, 6 hours per day, 4 on 4 off – totaling 21 hours per week
- Shift Length: Average of 6 to 8 hours per day
- Payment Frequency: Weekly (every Friday)
- Employment Type: Temporary to Permanent (based on performance)
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain professionalism, politeness, and courtesy at all times.
- Assist arriving and departing passengers requiring special assistance, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the airport.
- Provide support with passenger luggage as needed.
- Complete daily equipment checks to ensure operational reliability, reporting any defects as per procedures.
- Keep wheelchairs and buggies clean and well-maintained.
- Update Centralised Control on progress using IT handsets.
- Ensure all necessary documentation is completed accurately and submitted promptly.
- Perform any additional reasonable duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Proven customer service experience.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Full UK Driving License (desirable).
- Ability to multitask and remain composed under pressure.
- Previous experience in an airport environment is advantageous but not mandatory.
Requirements:
- Valid manual driving license.
- Desirable language skills: Urdu, Hindi, and Gujarati.
- Proof of identity (Passport or Birth Certificate).
- UK Settled Status (if applicable).
- Proof of National Insurance.
- Proof of current address.
- 5-year address history.
- 5-year work reference history.
- Successful candidates will undergo a basic DBS record check as per CAA requirements.
Note: As this role is within the aviation sector, candidates must provide a 5-year checkable history.
