Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automotive Bus and Coach Technical Trainer to join our team at GTG Training Limited. As a key member of our training team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training programs to apprentices and commercial delegates in the field of bus and coach maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver training programs that meet the needs of our clients and align with industry standards.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the latest bus and coach maintenance technologies, including electrical diagnosis.
  • Assess and evaluate the knowledge and skills of trainees, providing constructive feedback and guidance to ensure they meet the required standards.
  • Collaborate with the training team to develop and implement new training programs and resources.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to our clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
Requirements
  • Industry-recognized qualification in Automotive Maintenance and Repair Level 3 Bus and Coach or equivalent.
  • English and Maths at Level 2 or equivalent.
  • Proven track record in bus and coach maintenance, with a strong understanding of electrical diagnosis and modern automotive technology.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Teaching qualification (training and qualification will be offered if not).
  • Recent English and Maths experience (training and qualification will be offered if not).
  • Experience of working with apprentices or young people.
  • Assessing or TAQA qualification.
  • First aid.
