About the Role

Arnold Clark is seeking an experienced Automotive Technical Trainer to join our team in Wolverhampton. As a Heavy Vehicle Technical Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training and education to our trainees.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and deliver training programs in a safe and effective manner, adhering to health and safety regulations and industry standards.
  2. Utilize a range of training methods and materials to engage trainees and promote learning.
  3. Assist in the development and maintenance of training resources and assessment processes.
  4. Conduct assessments and evaluations to ensure trainees meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  5. Collaborate with the Team Leader and Curriculum Manager to enhance training processes and resources.
  6. Stay up-to-date with industry developments and technological advancements to ensure training remains relevant and effective.
Requirements
  1. Hold an industry-recognized qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Level 3 or equivalent.
  2. English and Maths at Level 2 or equivalent.
  3. Proven experience in electrical diagnosis and the use of modern automotive technology.
  4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  6. Full UK driving license for subject specialism.
Desirable Qualifications
  1. Teaching qualification (training and qualification will be offered if not).
  2. Recent English and Maths experience (training and qualification will be offered if not).
  3. Experience working with apprentices or young people.
  4. Assessing or TAQA qualification.
  5. First aid.
