We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automotive Technical Instructor to join our team at the Arnold Clark Group. As an Automotive Light Vehicle Technical Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training and education to apprentices and commercial delegates at our training centre in Wolverhampton.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out training and education in a safe and controlled environment, adhering to health and safety regulations and industry standards.
- Develop and deliver training programs that meet the needs of our learners, using current methods and technologies.
- Assess learners' knowledge, skills, and behaviors, ensuring they meet industry standards and awarding body requirements.
- Collaborate with the Team Leader and Curriculum Manager to develop and improve training processes and resources.
- Stay up-to-date with technological developments and vocational CPD, ensuring our learners receive the best possible training.
- Industry-recognized qualification in Automotive Maintenance and Repair (Level 3 Light Vehicle or equivalent).
- English and Maths at Level 2 or equivalent.
- Proven track record in electrical diagnosis and ability to use modern automotive technology.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to use Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Enthusiasm and commitment to delivering high-quality training.
- Teaching qualification (training and qualification will be offered if not).
- Recent English and Maths experience (training and qualification will be offered if not).
- Experience of working with apprentices or young people.
- Assessing or TAQA qualification.
- First aid certification.
