About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Trainee High Intensity Cognitive Behavioural Therapist. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality therapeutic services to individuals struggling with mental health issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide therapeutic services to clients with a range of common mental health problems, developing your clinical skills and expertise.
  • Participate in a thorough induction program, shadowing qualified CBT therapists and attending CBT therapy groups.
  • Attend monthly training sessions, weekly 1-2-1 supervision, group supervision, and reflective practice to support your professional development.
  • Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team of experienced practitioners and leaders to deliver high-quality services.
  • Contribute to the development of your clinical practice and equip yourself with the skills needed to help clients on their journey to recovery.
Requirements
  • Hold a BABCP recognised core professional training or have at least 2 years experience working in mental health, demonstrating the knowledge and skills to meet the BABCP requirements.
  • Be available to start employment in January 2025.
  • Have a strong understanding of CBT principles and be able to demonstrate your knowledge and skills through a portfolio prior to interview.
