Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled individual to join our Home Support Service as a Scheduler Supervisor. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and supervising a team of Home Support Schedulers to deliver high-quality customer care and service to the people of North Lanarkshire.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise a team of Home Support Schedulers to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Monitor and oversee the scheduling and first point of contact within the Home Support Service.
  • Support the scheduling system and decisions related to the redeployment of Home Support Workers.
  • Monitor service continuity to promote high-quality service provision and ensure the needs and preferences of service users are respected.
  • Manage and effectively utilize resources, monitoring provision capacity and costs.
  • Provide extensive support, guidance, training, and development to your team to ensure quality service delivery through continuous improvement.
  • Monitor workload activity levels, including the use of telephony technology to maintain service level standards and customer quality care via telephone call monitoring.
  • Audit and analyze data from all systems used for the purposes of service improvement.

Requirements

  • Excellent IT skills and ability to analyze data.
  • Excellent supervisory, communication, influencing, and interpersonal skills.
  • Organized and resourceful individual with problem-solving skills and a 'can-do' approach.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • Experience working in a social work or home support-related environment.
  • Possession of an HNC, SVQ Level 3, or equivalent qualification.
