Role Overview: The Specification Sales Executive for Commercial Interiors is a pivotal position within our organization.
- This is a field-based sales role focused on promoting a comprehensive range of high-quality commercial interior products.
- Approximately 60% of your time will be dedicated to generating specifications with architects and interior designers.
- The remaining 40% will involve managing and selling directly to fit-out and flooring contractors.
- Achieve a turnover target of £800,000.
- Target sectors include commercial buildings such as office complexes, educational institutions (schools, universities, and colleges), hospitality and leisure facilities, high-rise residential projects, and a limited scope in healthcare.
- Utilize Glenigan leads, our in-house CRM database, and telesales leads to maximize opportunities.
Candidate Profile:
- Proven field sales experience, particularly in the A&D specification marketplace.
- Familiarity with a variety of interior products, including contract furniture, lighting, wall coverings, fabrics, and ceiling partitioning.
- Experience in promoting new products that are ideally suited for specification selling.
- Field sales experience with contractors is also advantageous.
- Prior experience in sectors such as office buildings, education, hospitality, high-rise residential, and healthcare is beneficial.
