Project Overview

We are seeking a Senior Design Manager to join our team in London to work on a high-end commercial Cat B and heavy refurbishment project.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the design team through the scheme and production design stages, and the delivery team through implementation and handover.
  • Drive all design-related project outcomes.
  • Provide technical expertise in design management and act as a focal point for all technical design-related matters on projects.
  • Work closely with the project commercial manager to produce project-specific designer agreements.
  • Liaise with the project planner to produce, agree, and manage a realistic design program.
  • Represent the project team at client review meetings.
  • Develop a detailed design program with all relevant parties.
  • Attend internal design meetings and action comments generated at these meetings.
  • Assist construction managers in all design issues as needed.
  • Ensure design compliance with statutory requirements and applicable standards.

About You

You will be a digitally savvy professional with excellent communication skills, able to build strong relationships with clients and support motivated construction teams.
