Job Overview:

We are seeking an exceptional Team Manager to lead a new Family Help Team in our Children's Services department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a diverse team of social workers and family support workers, ensuring the provision of top-tier social work services to children and families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Effective management of a team of social workers and family support workers, ensuring high-quality services to children and families.
  • Leadership and guidance to team members, promoting a positive and supportive work environment.
  • Collaboration with other teams and stakeholders to achieve optimal outcomes for children and families.
  • Development and implementation of strategies to improve service delivery and outcomes.
Requirements:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced social worker with a minimum of two years' experience as an Assistant Team Manager in children's social care. You will have excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to inspire and motivate staff, and a commitment to achieving optimal outcomes for children.
