Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Team Manager to join our multi-disciplinary Hospital Team in Hampshire. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with health and social care colleagues to deliver excellent social work services that make a real difference to adults in need of social care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage Senior Case Workers and Social Workers, while managing your own small, but complex, case load.
  • Support our duty function, deputise for the Team Manager, and assist in the strategic planning and delivery of the service in line with our governance principles.
  • Develop successful and positive relationships with individuals and professional health staff, both inside and outside of the hospital team.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
  • A current drivers' licence and access to a reliable vehicle on a regular basis.
  • A strong understanding of safeguarding, complex case work, resource allocation, and funding.
