Job Summary:

Gulfstream Aerospace is seeking an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Team Lead to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and completing tasks to meet service and delivery schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Task Planning and Scheduling: Plan and schedule tasks to ensure timely completion and meet service and delivery schedules.
  • Team Management: Assist with performance appraisal of team members, assess strengths and weaknesses, and provide guidance and growth opportunities.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform required periodic maintenance and necessary servicing of all aircraft mechanical systems, ensuring compliance with Gulfstream Repair Station procedures and Airworthiness Standards.
  • Work Distribution and Coordination: Manage work distribution to the team, define priorities, and ensure communication with the team and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Quality and Safety: Apply 6S and Lean Initiatives to maintain good housekeeping and safety in all areas, including hangars, break areas, and offices.

Requirements:

  • Advanced Knowledge: Advanced knowledge of inspection and heavy maintenance, including aircraft component removal and installation, flight control rigging, engine removal, installation, rigging, schedule and unscheduled inspections, and major or minor sheetmetal/structural repairs or alterations.
  • Technical Knowledge: Advanced working knowledge of pertinent technical reference materials, including maintenance manuals, IPCs, and structural repair manuals, service bulletins, Airworthiness Directives, etc.
  • Language Skills: Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
