Job Summary

Claremont Clinic is seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Receptionist to join our evening team. As a key member of our practice, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the reception desk, providing exceptional patient care, and supporting our clinicians and administrative staff.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage the reception desk, handling patient inquiries, and directing them to the appropriate staff member.
  • Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and maintain accurate records of patient interactions.
  • Process patient registrations, update medical records, and handle administrative tasks as required.
  • Work collaboratively with the practice team to achieve high standards of patient care and customer service.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of practice policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a GP practice.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, clinicians, and administrative staff.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Proficiency in using clinical systems, such as EMISweb, and other administrative software.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
