About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Rehabilitation Support Worker to join our established inpatient team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in supporting patients with activities of daily living, promoting recovery and well-being, and empowering patients to self-manage and maximise their independence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support nursing and therapy teams to facilitate rehabilitation in an inpatient environment
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living, including personal care and management of dietary and fluid intake
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individual care plans
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care and support
  • Participate in health education and training for patients, families, and carers
Requirements
  • Previous experience of working in a health or social care environment
  • Good levels of numeracy and literacy
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to listen and respond to patient needs
