Key Responsibilities:

  • Monthly Financial Reporting: Prepare and present monthly financial statements, analyzing performance against budget.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate proactively with group stakeholders during month-end processes and seasonal activities.
  • Audit Coordination: Manage audit schedules and serve as the primary contact for auditors.
  • Balance Sheet Management: Conduct monthly reviews of balance sheet reconciliations, identifying and analyzing discrepancies.
  • Intergroup Reconciliation: Ensure precise monthly reconciliation of intergroup balances, working closely with senior stakeholders across the organization.
  • Strategic Financial Insight: Partner with the Finance Director and Managing Director to enhance commercial narratives and drive profitability improvements.
  • Business Opportunity Evaluation: Assist the senior management team in assessing and evaluating new business ventures that align with ambitious growth objectives.
  • Team Development: Provide mentorship and support to junior team members, fostering your own growth in a leadership role.
  • Asset Management: Maintain Fixed Asset Registers and manage monthly depreciation postings for various business units.
  • Process Improvement: Contribute to the development of accounting processes and procedures.
