Job Overview
Vistry Group PLC is seeking a skilled Telehandler to join our team in Bristol. As a Telehandler, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a forklift truck, ensuring the smooth flow of materials and supplies throughout our site.
Key Responsibilities
- Unload, store, secure, and distribute materials using a forklift truck
- Assist the site team in maintaining site safety and security requirements
- Ensure all actions comply with the Company's Health, Safety, and Environmental policy
- Manage stores and distribute materials to trades
- Receive and check deliveries, report shortages, and undertake stock checks
- Assist with ordering of materials and issue Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Assist with statutory inspections and ensure materials areas are kept neat and tidy
- Ensure onsite waste is segregated and managed appropriately at all times
- Ensure storage areas and compounds are securely locked at the end of each working day
Requirements
- Experience as a Labourer or trades person
- CSCS card
- Able to demonstrate genuine interest in working in the construction industry
- Resourceful and capable of using own initiative
- Excellent time keeping and attendance record
- Able to work effectively and safely under pressure
- Able to represent the Company professionally at all times
