Position Overview

Penguin Recruitment is on the lookout for a skilled Heritage Engineer to become a vital part of our dynamic and welcoming design team. This role is based in our Oxford office and offers a diverse range of projects that will attract engineers eager to advance their professional journey.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

  • Support Principal Engineers in the design and execution of structural engineering projects across various sectors, including residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments.
  • Demonstrate expertise in structural engineering design across all fundamental materials, with experience in both residential and commercial structures.
Candidate Profile

We welcome applications from individuals who possess:

  • A solid background in structural engineering design, particularly in timber, steel, reinforced concrete, and masonry, adhering to Euro Code standards.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, especially CAD software for drafting and structural analysis, ideally using tools such as Tedds or Tekla.
  • A commitment to working within a busy, professional design environment while adhering to best practices.
