Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Engagement Specialist to join the University of Oxford team. As a key member of the ANTITHESES project team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with external and internal stakeholders, managing the day-to-day planning, organization, and administration of outreach activities, and contributing to the delivery of our Engaged Research Programme.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective outreach strategies to engage with a wide range of audiences, including public, academic, healthcare practitioners, museums and heritage sector, NGOs, and policy-makers, both in the UK and internationally.
  • Organize and coordinate events, workshops, and other outreach activities for public audiences, ensuring their success and impact.
  • Utilize digital media to engage with diverse audience groups, leveraging social media, online platforms, and other digital tools to promote our research and outreach efforts.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and deliver engaging content, presentations, and materials for various audiences.
  • Provide excellent oral, written, and presentation communication skills, ensuring clear and effective communication with diverse stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Education to degree level or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience in organizing events for public audiences and utilizing digital media to engage with audience groups.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate clearly with diverse stakeholders.

Working Arrangements:

This is a full-time (part-time considered) fixed-term position for 3 years.
