We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Training Lead to join our team at Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Community Transformation team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality DIALOG+ training and support to our clinical staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver a comprehensive DIALOG+ training and continuous improvement plan to enhance the knowledge and skills of our clinical staff.
  • Establish and maintain an effective clinical educational approach that supports staff in the use of therapeutic, high-quality, evidence-based care planning in a mental health setting.
  • Support the facilitation of ongoing professional development, skills, and competencies for all levels of multi-disciplinary clinical workforce.
  • Act as a role model in demonstrating high standards of clinical expertise in the delivery and benefits of DIALOG+ within clinical teams.
  • Provide leadership to local DIALOG+ trainers to ensure appropriate clinical and operational care planning standards are maintained.

  • Strong leadership skills and ability to navigate services, establish relationships with clinical staff, and work with clinicians to understand their baseline DIALOG+ knowledge and identify any skills gaps.
  • Good audit and evaluation skills to provide support to local teams with areas of improvement and provide assurance to the Community Transformation DIALOG+ Implementation Group.
  • Excellent people management skills to support the implementation and use of DIALOG+.
  • Good understanding of local and national DIALOG+ recommendations and policies related to care planning within mental health teams.
