About the Role

As an Outdoor Education Specialist, you will play a vital role in enhancing student performance and fostering a conducive learning environment where students can reach their full potential. Your responsibilities will encompass nurturing the social, emotional, and behavioral growth of students while monitoring their overall progress.

Supporting students with complex Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) needs is both challenging and rewarding. You will receive strong support from our highly experienced teams as you contribute to the significant development and advancement of our students, positively impacting their lives.

Duties:
  • Provide support to students facing emotional, social, and behavioral challenges in alignment with the school's ethos and SEN Code of Practice;
  • Uphold the school's Safeguarding principles by adhering to safeguarding policies and procedures;
  • Advocate for Citizenship and British values;
  • Engage in daily planned activities, many of which involve physical outdoor elements even in adverse weather conditions;
Our Ideal Candidate:

We seek an Outdoor Education Specialist who possesses:

  • GCSEs with grades C/4 or above in English and Maths
  • Qualifications in Outdoor Education
  • A valid UK Driving Licence and a willingness to travel
