Assistant Head of Safeguarding and Wellbeing

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated individual to join our team as Assistant Head of Health, supporting the Head of Safeguarding, Wellbeing and Health in ensuring the safeguarding of children and adults at risk.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Head of Safeguarding, Wellbeing and Health in ensuring the safeguarding of children and adults at risk.
- Work with internal teams and external agencies to provide practical support and assistance to staff raising concerns.
- Deliver training workshops and awareness raising sessions to promote safeguarding practices.
- Have line management responsibility for some staff in the Wellbeing and Residential Support Team.
- Share the 24/7 safeguarding phone with the Head of Safeguarding, Wellbeing and Health.
- Hold a minimum of a Safeguarding Level 3 qualification.
- Have extensive experience of working with young people in an appropriate setting.
- Be able to manage a demanding case load and work with external agencies.
- Be passionate about supporting young people to succeed and overcome challenges.
- Be able to maintain positive relationships with students and other adults.
