Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech and Language Therapist to join our team at Medway Community Healthcare. As a Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to children and their families in the Swale area.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and assess children with speech, language, and communication needs (SLCN) and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Deliver therapy sessions to children with a range of communication difficulties, including speech, language, and social communication disorders.
- Work closely with parents, carers, and other professionals to develop and implement effective communication strategies.
- Conduct regular assessments and reviews to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Provide training and education to parents, carers, and other professionals on communication strategies and techniques.
- Recognized Speech and Language Therapy degree qualification or equivalent.
- License to Practice and registration with the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT) and the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Experience of working with children with a range of communication difficulties, including speech, language, and social communication disorders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, parents, carers, and other professionals.
