About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Staff Nurse to join our dynamic team at Kings Norton Hospital, a purpose-built adult mental health service. As a Senior Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and leadership to our patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide visible clinical leadership and professional direction to the nursing team on a day-to-day basis.
  • Plan, allocate, supervise, and evaluate working practices of the team on a shift-by-shift basis.
  • Act as a lead for an area of quality, such as tissue viability, infection control, or patient experience.
  • Ensure the care, welfare, and safety of all patients are maintained at the highest possible standard.
  • Liaise effectively with external suppliers and healthcare providers.
  • Monitor and develop the performance of support workers.
  • Use a person-centered approach to ensure every individual's needs are understood and met with the greatest privacy, dignity, and respect.
Requirements
  • A current NMC Pin registration with at least 4 years' experience in a similar environment.
  • A legal right to work in the UK.
  • Evidence of continuous personal and professional development.
  • Passionate about providing high-quality care and the Patient and Carer Experience.
