About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Staff Nurse to join our team at Kings Norton Hospital in Birmingham. As a Senior Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with complex mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide visible clinical leadership and professional direction to the nursing team
  • Plan, allocate, supervise and evaluate working practices of the team
  • Ensure the care, welfare and safety of all patients is maintained at the highest possible standard
  • Creating individualised care plans for patients / Updating care plans daily
  • Safely administering and recording of medication
  • Liaising effectively with external suppliers and health care providers
  • Monitoring and developing performance of support workers
  • Use a person-centred approach to ensure every individual's needs are understood and met with the greatest privacy, dignity, and respect
Requirements
  • A current NMC Pin registration, with at least 4 years' experience in a similar environment
  • A legal right to work in the UK
  • Evidence of continuous personal and professional development
  • Passionate about providing high quality care and the Patient and Carer Experience
