About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Staff Nurse to join our team at Kings Norton Hospital, a purpose-built adult mental health service. As a Senior Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and direction to the nursing team, ensuring the highest possible standard of care for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide visible clinical leadership and professional direction to the nursing team on a day-to-day basis.
  • Plan, allocate, supervise, and evaluate working practices of the team on a shift-by-shift basis.
  • Act as a lead for an area of quality, such as tissue viability, infection control, or patient experience.
  • Ensure the care, welfare, and safety of all patients are maintained at the highest possible standard.
  • Contribute to multidisciplinary team working, risk assessment management, and ongoing clinical improvement.
Requirements
  • A current NMC Pin registration, with at least 4 years' experience in a similar environment.
  • A legal right to work in the UK.
  • Evidence of continuous personal and professional development.
