We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Assistant to join the dedicated Finance Team at Reed, a dynamic and forward-thinking company. The role is pivotal in providing a high-quality finance function and supporting fundraising activities with precise processing of income from various sources.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Process all forms of income accurately into the fundraising CRM and accounts package, ensuring seamless integration and efficient data management.
  • Ensure correct coding of gift and donation income with appropriate campaign, appeal, and fund details, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Reconcile income between the bank and the fundraising CRM, identifying and resolving any discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Handle purchase invoices with proper authorisation and accurate coding, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Reconcile company credit card expenditure and process expense claims promptly, maintaining a high level of transparency and accountability.
  • Perform month-end bank reconciliations, including online donation platforms, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Process non-income and non-creditor payments efficiently, minimizing delays and maximizing productivity.
  • Assist with month-end accounts, year-end accounts, audit, and annual budgets, providing valuable support to the Finance Team.
  • Manage monthly accruals, prepayments, and update grants spreadsheet, ensuring accurate and up-to-date financial information.

**Requirements:**

  • AAT minimum level 2 (or equivalent experience) in accounting and finance.
  • Experience using accounting software, such as QuickBooks or Xero.
  • Experience using CRM systems, such as Salesforce or HubSpot.
