As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing a large portfolio of entities, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and providing exceptional support to our stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting: Manage the external reporting requirements for a portfolio of UK and European entities, building relationships with external parties and coordinating the timetable of audit and accounts-prep engagements.
  • Technical Accounting: Prepare journal entries and reconciliations to support the conversion of US GAAP management account TBs to locally-compliant TBs.
  • Project Management: Coordinate efforts from other teams, including management accounting, FP&A, Legal, Tax, and operational business, to deliver quality information to external partners.
  • Process Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities for procedural improvements to enhance efficiency and quality, and work to implement these to position the business for growth.
  • Acquisition Support: Assist with the onboarding of regular new acquisitions, understanding the mapping of legacy local results into the systems, and planning for a successful transition.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: ACA/ACCA Qualified with a technical background.
  • Skills: A disciplined self-starter with a 'can do' attitude, able to work within a matrix organization, with a high level of commitment and the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
  • Abilities: A critical eye for accuracy, data integrity, process issues, and improvements, with excellent analytical skills, including the ability to analyze large and complex data sets to summarize in a simple, effective way.
