Due to sustained growth, our client, a leading provider of pension services, has a rare new job vacancy for a defined benefit pensions consultant/client manager to work at the forefront of their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of DB schemes, working closely with clients, Trustees, Actuaries, and external parties to exceed their expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of clients with defined benefit and defined contribution pension schemes.
  • Liaise with Trustees, Actuaries, and external parties to provide expert advice and support.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure their pension needs are met.
  • Stay up-to-date with current legislation and scheme rules to provide informed guidance.
  • Communicate complex pension information clearly and concisely to clients and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Previous technical senior defined benefit pensions experience is essential.
  • Experience in client management within pensions is required.
  • Technical knowledge of cradle-to-grave pensions administration is necessary.
  • Ability to demonstrate and communicate knowledge clearly and concisely.
