Job Description

Surveillance/Technical Delivery Manager

Leeds/Edinburgh

6 month contract

Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites.

You'll work closely with the Product Owner and Engineering Lead within your lab, contributing to the development and prioritization of deliverables, as well as collaborating with team members such as Integrators around key dependencies and Customer Journey Managers to ensure we do the right thing for our colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating the integration process and/or implementation events across shared infrastructure.
  • Leading the Service Introduction process, coordinating parties to ensure successful change implementation.
  • Working with stakeholders outside of the lab to ensure interlock to enable delivery at pace.
  • Identifying blockers to delivery by proactively monitoring, troubleshooting, and diagnosing technical issues.
  • Acting as the interface between the supplier (3rd Party) and key business stakeholders.
  • Leading complex and high-risk implementations requiring integration between multiple parties (internal/external) to ensure safe delivery.
  • Providing consultancy for governance activity owned by the Product Owner.
  • Enabling the delivery of technology risk and control improvements.
  • Previous background within Delivery/Project Management, particularly in technical change programmes and related governance activities.
  • Regulatory Surveillance experience.
  • End-to-end testing experience.
  • SAS and cloud knowledge/experience.
  • Experience of delivering using Agile tools such as JIRA and Confluence, and either Kanban or Scrum methodology.
  • Demonstrated ability to support multiple deliveries simultaneously.
