Director, Clinical Supplies Management

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure that all clinical trial projects are delivered to quality expectations in a timely manner while adhering to ICON or Sponsor SOPs, and in compliance with ethical, legal, and regulatory standards.
  • Build and maintain an optimal global organizational structure and allocate resources to projects and initiatives, including resource justifications, hiring of staff, manage performance expectations, staff development, and succession planning.
  • Liaise with Procurement and Legal departments towards sourcing appropriate vendors, negotiating pricing, structuring, and implementation of Master Service Agreements (MSA) and governance over vendor adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLA).
  • Develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and systems related to Clinical Supplies, collaborating with other functional groups as required. Independent and proactive preparation, communication, and coordination of process changes.
  • Manage CSM quality, including resolution of clinical supplies quality issues from internally or externally driven sources.
  • Perform additional relevant responsibilities as directed by management.
  • Deep understanding of supply chain networks, clinical regulations, and timelines.
  • In-depth experience in the pharmaceutical and/or healthcare industries in a Quality, Project Management, Logistics, or Supply Chain role.
