Join Our Team as a Support Worker for Children

Randstad Care is a leading provider of temporary and permanent staffing solutions for the care sector. We are currently seeking a Support Worker to join our team in Shrewsbury.

About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to provide high-quality care and support to children in a residential setting. As a Support Worker, you will work closely with our team to ensure the well-being and safety of our young clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support and care to children with learning difficulties or challenging behavior
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care and meal preparation
  • Encourage and support children in their daily activities and routines
  • Work collaboratively with our team to ensure the smooth operation of the residential home
Requirements
  • Minimum of 6 months paid experience in children's care in the UK in the last 3 years
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Good standard of English, both spoken and written, with the ability to communicate effectively
  • Enhanced DBS check
  • Suitable references to cover the last 3 years of employment
